So, it is finally happening… We are off. This post should go up just as we take off from Heathrow! After faffing and vaccinating and packing and list writing we are off on our little adventure. I am just doing the very last bits, sending out the last emails, that sort of thing before I hand everything over to lovely Liz. Scary. Not the Liz bit. She is ‘totes amazeballs’ as they say, somewhere. (Where?)

I can’t tell if that fluttery feeling is excitement or nerves. We have packed our 2 backpacks – mine has all our clothes, Andy has all sorts of strange bits and bobs, chargers, gaffer tape, the Daddy of all medical kits. I think we are done. We are off to Mums to collect children, take lovely Daisy Dog, and have our last roast dinner.
