Spring Blooms and Foody Heaven

“Where to begin? Thank you so much for allowing us to have the best day ever on Saturday 22nd April. It was better that we ever imagined it would have been.

Delicious food, STUNNING flowers, great service and all round wonderfulness. 

We are still walking around on cloud nine with huge smiles on our faces! Thank you again.”

What a perfect welcome back to our wedding season at the start of last year, Ellie & Charlie were a lovely pair and we had a great time creating their day full of Spring flowers and plenty of delicious food. They appeared in our inbox with this mission statement:

“The goal is a great location, delicious food and dancing with our favourite people.”

We were happy to oblige!

Starting the day in style, Ellie flew into the farmyard at top speed in a shiny red car, they were married in the barn with milk churns spilling over with lovely armfuls hawthorn blossom, blush roses, ranunculus, tulips, fritillaria, clematis and ammi. 

Ellie & Charlie picked a truly great menu, starting off their day with our Tapas Canapés. Featuring dishes of Patatas Bravas Skewers (cubed potatoes on skewers sat on spicy tomato sauce and covered in delicious spoonfuls of garlicky Crème Fraiche), Smoky Spanish Meatballs, Piquillo Pepper Crostini and Tomato & Butterbean Flatbreads (the smoky tomato butterbeans are another kitchen favourite, we have to make extra so that we all get some!).
