We could not have chosen a more beautiful, rustic, relaxed and authentic venue for our wedding. Petal and Feast truly delivered on our day. It went so smoothly, we were able to fully relax and enjoy it and not one thing went wrong. Our guests were also amazed by the flowers, food and setting, which are the qualities that really do make this place so incredible! Thank you to the whole P&F team including the lovely farmer John, who contributed to our perfect wedding day!
We wanted to say the biggest thank you to you all for everything you did to make our wedding so magical. From the venue and helping us to get it all ready, the delicious food (everyone keeps saying how delicious the lamb was) to the most beautiful grown flowers, every detail was absolutely unreal. Our guests haven’t stopped telling us how special the day was, and how special of a place you have created at the Secret Barn, and we couldn’t agree more. And an extra thank you for the cake(!!) – gosh we really hadn’t put much thought into the cake and you came out with the most amazing masterpiece full of colourful wild flower blooms- unbelievable – our friends have also said how epic that was and that was all down to you guys. You were so responsive and supportive in the run up, always very relaxed which helped put us completely at ease. We’re especially grateful for all the help you gave both before the day and throughout. We were so happy that the weather gods were on our side and we were able to have our ceremony in the outside orchard which was so special, we are so glad it all came together so perfectly. We had the best time ever and we will always remember it with such joy and gratitude. Thank you again for making it unforgettable.
The team at Petal & Feast were a dream to work with for our special day. Not only is the venue beautiful but Sally, Hannah, and the rest of the team made sure everything was easy to plan well in advance and ensured that our day ran smoothly from start to finish. Recommend highly!
I stumbled across the Secret Barn when looking for venues and am so glad that I did. From the moment we looked at the website we knew this was a special place and had the vibes we were looking for. Local food and flowers all in a lovely rustic, twinkly setting. We booked straight away after being shown around by Hannah who was super relaxed and absolutely not pushy. We had a few visits to the barn whilst waiting for our date to arrive and it felt so exciting each time. On the day itself Petal and Feast helped us to have an epic wedding day. The food was stupendous, the flowers were incredible, everything was perfect – what we had hoped for and more. Everyone was raving about the food, the relaxed vibes and could see exactly why we fell in love with the venue all that time ago. I would encourage anyone who is after a fun but relaxed day to check out the Secret Barn and the lovely Petal and Feast Team. Thank you so much again to all involved, you’re the best!
Thank you Petal and Feast for helping us have the happiest day ever. The venue and flowers were just so beautiful – it felt like spring had sprung in our barn – it was full of joy! The relaxed but oh so special countryside feel was really wonderful. And as for the food! Was so delicious and the informal serving style really helped create the atmosphere we wanted – all our favourite people having the happiest time with us. Honestly I can’t even imagine having pur wedding anywhere else! Not only the venue is absolutely beautiful, but the gang at petal and feast are no short of brilliant!! They create such a relaxed atmosphere and great vibe! All of my guests are still getting in touch to say how lovely everything was and that’s definitely down to them!! The food was simply amazing (I’m still gutted I was so full I couldn’t possible eat anymore on the day!! Lol), the cake was beautiful and delicious!! And them there’s the flowers!! I honestly can’t even describe them! The fact that they are literally the ones growing them still baffles me. They also make everything go so smoothly, didn’t have to worry about anything on the day! Absolutely brilliant
We got married at the Secret Barn in September 2024 and couldn’t recommend it more! Hannah and Sally’s team have a laid back yet organised approach, which made wedding planning honestly feel stress free. One of the best things is that the venue organise all the beautiful flowers that are grown onsite, and provide the food. We had canapés, BBQ sharing dishes, an ice-cream cart, and hog roast in the evening. All the food was excellent and the guests loved it. If you want a laid-back wedding, with opportunities to add your own personal touches – The Secret Barn is definitely for you !
We had the best day – their barns are stunning, the food absolutely delicious, the most amazing bright huge flowers and the team were so kind and helpful. Hannah and Sally helped us organise the whole day and made sure everything ran to plan. We could not be more grateful and enjoyed the day so much.
The Secret Barn was the perfect location for our summer wedding. The team are super organised and everything was booked and planned months in advance. The florals are unreal and the food was the best I have ever experienced at a wedding! So sad it is over & I will be recommending the venue to all of our friends so we can come back.
THE BEST WEDDING! Our experience with the amazing team at Petal and Feast smashed all our expectations! We booked the secret barn about 18 months before our wedding, and throughout the planning process both Hannah and Sally supported us with everything. The homework clubs and frequent support via email were incredibly useful and gave us opportunities to ask questions and get advice. Petal and Feast are clearly really knowledgeable and we made use of their expertise! One thing that was really important to us was to be able to incorporate some Norwegian traditions – such as a cake table and MANY speeches. Hannah and Sally listened to our ideas, were really adaptable and made our dream wedding come to fruition! One of the added bonuses of the Secret Barn is the access you get before and after your wedding day; and that it’s completely a blank slate. We were able to access the venue a few days in advance, so had plenty of time to prep the venue and decorate it how we wanted (think: canvas signage, bunting and candle jars)! It allowed us to be completely creative, with Petal & Feast being big cheerleaders! The secret barn is a beautiful venue, with so many different spaces you can utilise. Both the reception and ceremony barn have so much character, and made for excellent locations to get married and feast! The outside spaces are perfect for photos, games, mingling, drinking, speeches and snacking – especially if you have the weather! The food itself was fantastic, with so many options to choose from and the ability to customise it to your needs. We went for canapes, tapas, a BBQ, cake table and ice cream cart, and no one was left hungry. The flowers are STUNNING and we loved that they were grown locally. We 100% recommend having the flower ladder and chandeliers, as they really compliment the barn and surroundings. We received so many comments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the day, and so much of this was down to Petal & Feast. If we could get married at the secret barn every week, we would! A massive thank you to Hannah and Sally, and the rest of the team, for all your support!
We got engaged in Italy in Oct 2023 and we quite firmly wanted to get married as soon as possible! We have 4 children between us, so it was really important to us to find a super relaxed, fun venue where everyone felt comfortable. This is where Petal and Feast came along. Having seen photos of the venue on Instagram we were still on our Italian adventure when we contacted Hannah for availability. We were in luck, May 2024 was available and we booked a viewing straight after we landed back on English soil! The Secret Barn is extremely rustic but very romantic. A blank sheet of paper which could be decorated in whichever way we wanted. I was in love at first sight! Hannah and Sally helped us every step of the way, from choosing our menu, our flower choices, type of ceremony, the timings throughout the day and hiring equipment. It was an amazing experience and we loved every moment. Our wedding was simply the most idyllic day. All the pre-planning and setup was worth it and as I walked into the rustic ceremony barn, twinkling lights flickering, all my family and friends smiling and my gorgeous groom at the end of the aisle, it was absolutely perfect! The relaxed nature of the day continued throughout. Drinks on the lawn, relaxed BBQ food in the main barn, lawn games, speeches and a party with lovely band. Some of our friends, us included, stayed in beautiful bell tents over night too. Thank you Petal and Feast gang! Our wedding was all we could have ever dreamt of!
Honestly, this wedding far surpassed all of our hopes and wishes and we have had, what we biasedly believe to be, the best wedding weekend going and we really must lay a lot of our gratitude at your door. You all clearly know what you’re doing and we must say that the organisation, whilst it was busy and intense towards the end, felt like not as big of a task as it might have in the hands of other wedding organisers/venues! We feel this was totally mirrored throughout the day and really was the vibe we were going for. Also, we must congratulate you all on such triumphant flowers and food! It was all so delicious and everyone loved the relaxed atmos of the big canteen-style barn and big tables and buffet with such yummy food. And the flowers, from the little ones on the tables to the button holes to the flower arch and the bridal bouquet: they were all so beautiful and again, that rustic classical style was honestly exactly what we wanted.
